In her fifteen years of experience, Marta’s been involved in community and development planning, sustainable transportation, urban design, streetscape design and guidelines, landscape architectural design, and heritage conservation. Through her work, Marta has gained a strong appreciation in the power of a collaborative and inclusive project process that engages the client, public, and stakeholder.

Marta is a strong advocate of building dynamic community places that attract spontaneous interaction and animation, enhance wellbeing, promote sustainability, and provide opportunities for a variety of activities for all ages, abilities and cultures. Her international personal and professional experiences exploring urban and natural environments as a traveller, immigrant, gymnast, mother and passionate designer, give her an intimate understanding of placemaking from multiple perspectives.
