With eighteen years of experience, Chris brings design and technical leadership to a variety of complex public and private projects ranging from civic plazas and community parks to institutional, urban redevelopment and corporate campus design.

Originally from Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Chris has lived and worked across North America including Houston, Denver, Toronto, Seattle and Vancouver. This broad range of residences and experiences has sharpened his technical capacity and ability to navigate through project complexities at a variety of scales. As an interdisciplinary thinker, Chris strives to facilitate a collaborative design process and encourages open and engaging dialogue within teams – fostering design excellence through creative, place-based solutions that meet the needs of diverse user groups and local communities.

Chris holds a Bachelor in Landscape Architecture with a minor in Natural Resource Management and a Bachelor of Science – Environmental Design from North Dakota State University where he also played Div. I baseball. As a senior Landscape Architect and technical lead at Hapa Collaborative, Chris is currently leading some of Hapa’s most challenging projects including Hammersley Park in North Vancouver and the Bentall Centre Redevelopment project with Hudson Pacific Properties.
