Shruti Misra is a landscape designer at Hapa Collaborative. She graduated with honours from the School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture at the University of British Columbia, where she gained a comprehensive understanding of urban, landscape, and architectural design. Shruti is passionate about creating ecologically conscious and accessible environments. Her undergraduate thesis focused on housing for the elderly and the impact of landscapes on aging in India, while her graduate thesis addressed coastal restoration through mangrove species zonation to mitigate flooding in Mumbai. This work highlights her commitment to coastal restoration, nature-based solutions, and the integration of human and natural systems. Shruti also brings strong graphic and technical skills to her role, contributing to projects such as BC Parkway, the Coquitlam Main Water Tunnel Pipe Project, and 3333 Commercial.
