With a unique tapestry of international experiences and a deep passion for design, Fatima is a landscape designer who brings a global perspective, having worked on diverse projects across Saudi Arabia and Germany. Fascinated by structures, she pursued her undergraduate studies in Architecture, which sparked her interest in exploring the broader context of the built environment. This growing curiosity eventually led her to pursue her graduation in Landscape Architecture from Germany. Her approach to design is deeply influenced by her commitment to sustainability and her keen understanding of the cultural and environmental nuances of each site. She particularly enjoys uncovering stories within landscapes and using them to create narrative-driven designs.

Her graduate project, titled ‘From Wharfs to Wonder,’ focuses on a masterplan strategy for urban landscape regeneration of the waterfront to amplify the indigenous stories, while incorporating strategies to address floods, enhance sustainability, and promote resilience. Fatima’s work spans commercial design, residential complexes, and urban regeneration projects, always with a focus on creating spaces that are both functional and environmentally conscious. At Hapa Collaborative, she applies her multidisciplinary expertise to a variety of projects, aiming to make a positive impact on the communities she designs for. Outside of work, she can be found exploring the beautiful lakes of British Columbia.
