Alex discovered his passion for landscape architecture through his deep interest in spatial design and his love for plants. He has a strong enthusiasm for exploring the harmonious relationship between humans and nature. Alex has worked extensively across different realms of spatial design, with a focus on interdisciplinary and multi-scale projects. His passion for landscape architecture centers on user perception and the synergy between people, communities, and space. He earned both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s in Landscape Architecture from the University of Idaho, as well as a Master’s in Urban Design from the University of British Columbia. His research focused on sustainable transportation and interactive transportation art. Before shifting his focus entirely to landscape architecture, he also studied public art, which influenced his approach to spatial design and aesthetics. In addition to his academic background, Alex has professional experience in both China and the United States. This cross-cultural exposure has provided him with a diverse design perspective, enabling him to create adaptable and context-sensitive landscape solutions. Throughout his studies and career, he has explored the potential applications of various digital media platforms in landscape design, integrating technology with spatial creativity.
