Sujana is a landscape designer with a strong passion for creating ecological landscapes that seamlessly integrate with their surroundings. She emphasizes the incorporation of cultural influences, fostering meaningful interactions between people and the environment. Sujana actively explores innovative approaches in functional landscape design, focusing on enhancing well-being and developing aesthetically pleasing, sustainable outdoor spaces.

 

She holds a Master of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Manitoba and received the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects (CSLA) award of merit for her practicum work. With nine years of professional experience, Sujana has worked on a diverse range of projects, from small-scale residential developments to large-scale campus designs. Her expertise covers mixed-use residential, recreational spaces, streetscape design, campus development, and signage. Projects she has been working at Hapa include the Gastown Public Space Plan, the River District mixed use development.
